New Pictures

There are new pictures on the Bellevue, Berea, Toledo, and Willard pages.

TOLEDO PAGE

We have partially rebuilt the Toledo page, on which something went very wrong. Many of the pictures which were there have been temporarily removed while work on it. The rebuild is going to take some time but we will eventually will get it back.

We currently have 635 pictures on this site for your viewing pleasure.

Please also look in at the Train Order Classics web site to see what's new there. Please click on the logo at the left on all pages; the two sites are linked at that point.

Berea Map Update

We have posted an update of the Berea Map reflecting the latest changes there. Further updates of this map will be posted as tdhe NS signal project proceeds and the new signals are activated.

Will you be in Owosso, MI, this July 24-26 (Friday-Sunday) tor Train Festival 2009, “America’s Largest Celebration of Railroading in 2009”>

The event features 8 operating steam locomotives: just  announced SP 4449 (4-8-4), coming on an Amtrak-sponsored special from Portland, OR; NKP 765 (2-8-4) from Fort Wayne' PM 1225 (2-8-4), the "host loco" at Owosso; Flagg Coal 75 ()0-4-0T); Little River 110 (4-6-2)'; Little River 1 (0-4-0T); Leviathan 63 (4-4-0); and Viscose 6 (0-4-0T).

In addition, there will be several large operating model railroad layouts and a variety of displays for your enjoyment.

You can get more information at TrainFestival2009 to help you make your plans. Housing in and near Owosso is going to be a problem, and you  may have to stay some distance away and commute.

All of the long steam train trips, and some other events, are reported to be completely sold out.

Train Order Pix, and Train Order Classics are the direct descendants of Train Order. a monthly printed newsletter which covered rail news in Ohio and surrounding states for more than 22 years. Train Order ceased publication in June, 2006. We replaced it with these two web sites which bring you pictures -- in color! -- faster and less expensively than we ever could do so in print. We hope that you will like, and will be a frequent visitor (and contributor) to, both Train Order Pix and Train Order Classics.
